4 Days Kigoma - Gombe Stream - Kigoma

ARUSHA - KIGOMA

  • Depart Arusha or Dar by flight to Kigoma.
  • Transfer from Kigoma airport to Hotel.
  • Overnight at Kigoma Hill Top hotel (B/B).

KIGOMA - GOMBE

  • Boat transfer to Gombe Stream Park.
  • Breakfast at the hotel, followed by transfer to the shores of lake Tanganyika for a boat transfer to Gombe Park.
  • All meals and overnight at Gombe camp (F/B).

GAME VIEWING & CHIMPS TRACKING

  • Breakfast at the camp.
  • You will be guided to track the chimps. The amount of time allowed for each visit with the chimps is limited to 1-2 hours.
  • You will return to the Rest house for lunch.
  • In the afternoons you will have the option to track the chimps with a visit to the waterfall or Jane’s Peak – the spot where Jane Goodall sat each day to wait for a sight of her now famous chimpanzee troupe.
  • Alternatively, relax on the beach or snorkel in the clear waters of the lake where the chimpanzees and other primates sometimes come to drink.
  • All meals and overnight at Gombe Camp. (F/B)

GOMBE - ARUSHA

  • Boat transfer to Kigoma hill top.
  • Return to Kigoma Hill Top for lunch.
  • Afternoon transfer to Kigoma airport for your departure flight.
