Saadani National Park

Saadani National Park is an unusal eco-system as it blends both beach and bush. Located a less than 100kms north of Dar Es Saalam, this park is accessed easily by a paved road and can be added as a day trip to any stay on the coast of Tanzania.

Elephant play in the waves and lounge on the beaches and hippos and crocodiles bathe amongst the flamingos and other waterfowl of the Wami River which winds through the park before emptying into the indigo blue of the Indian ocean.

A great and quick addition to any safari, Saadani offers one of the worlds only coastal protected areas and should not be missed during any trip to Zanzibar or the mainland coast.
